Forest PathForest Path

Team DP are off an adventure to discover what’s hiding in Box Hill this weekend.

We will not be put off by the pending liquid sunshine, in fact will embrace this with wellies and a smile as we arm ourselves with a flick book and take to the beautiful Surrey Hills. It’s a simple concept but a powerful experience; as you flick through the pages you animate a sequence of photographs of the real environment to reveal the path ahead.

Stag Beetle

Discovering Places commissioned artist Rachel Henson to create this really unique walk bringing art, biodiversity, heritage and the natural landscape together.

Click here for more information about Box Hill Flickers.

The walk also falls within Heritage Open Days so once you’ve finished find out what else there is to discover in the Mole Valley.  And if you aren’t near to the hills, find out what’s happening on a national scale, there are Heritage Open Day events happening all over the country.

Take yourself of on an adventure this weekend and let us know what you discovered.

Happy exploring!

Claire Horan, DP Project Manager.
