After two weeks of finding out how the heritage of the UK is becoming more accessible and enjoyable to a variety of people and communities its time to find out more about how people have been given the opportunity to get out and about in the great outdoors and make the most the UK’s nature spots.

I love the great outdoors and as a resident of London I try to spend as much time as possible outside, enjoying nature. However, sometimes it can be difficult knowing where to go, or what to do where your there. Visit Woods is part of the Woodland Trust and will be blogging for us later in the week, letting you know about which woods to visits, how to plan your visit and what to do when your there. Discover Explore encourages people to explore the outdoor environment, and you can go to their website to download explorer packs with all the essential information needed for an outdoor adventure.

Discover Explore

We hope that the stories we share with you over the next few days will inspire you to go out and explore the British countryside and the great outdoors and to enjoy the UK’s natures spots.
